Presidents Message

Murray Wright
Murray Wright (President)

I am committed, as are the other Officers and Committee members of the Church, to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for all who enter through our doors, whatever their religious background. I believe we have a multi-functional role to play in people's lives. We can act as a guide to a positive and Principle-led way of life for those who wish to take on board our spiritualist philosophy wholeheartedly and live according to the 7 Principles. Equally, as a support for those who choose to come to us when they seek comfort and reassurance at the physical loss of a loved-one or at other difficult times in their lives. As a Committee, we are always trying to bring in new ideas and ways to move the Church forward in this 21st century to meet the needs of the community we serve.

The SNU 7 Principles
  1. The Fatherhood of God
  2. The Brotherhood of Man
  3. The Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels
  4. The continuous existence of the human soul
  5. Personal responsibility
  6. Compensation and retribution hereafter for all the good and evil deeds done on earth
  7. Eternal progress open to every human soul

Announcements

Kettering Spiritualist Church is reopening from Sunday 15th August with a single service at 3.00pm. Services will be unchanged with singing of hymns now permitted.

As the water leak under the church is not being repaired until October, the water supply will only be turned on for services and the following restrictions will apply:

No drinking water or refreshments will be available as water may be contaminated. Toilet facilities will be available. Hand sanitiser will be provided throughout the church.

The wearing of face coverings will be individual choice.

Healing and circles within the church will not resume until after the water leak is repaired.
